These Colours Don't Run

It's the same in every country, When you say you're leaving
Left behind the loved ones, Waiting silent in the hall
Where you're going lies adventure, Others only dream of
Red and green light this is real, And so you go to war
For the passion, for the glory, For the memories, for the money
You're a soldier, for your country what's the difference, all the same

Far away from the land of our birth, We fly a flag in some foreign earth
We sailed away like our fathers before, These colours don't run from cold bloody war

There is no one that will save you, Going down in flames
No surrender certain death, You look it in the eye
On the shores of tyranny you, Crashed a human wave
Paying for my freedom with your lonely unmarked graves
For the passion, for the glory For the memories, for the money,
You're a soldier, for your country, what's the difference, all the same

Far away from the land of our birth, We fly a flag in some foreign earth
We sailed away like our fathers before,These colours don't run from cold bloody war

Brighter Than A Thousand Suns

Shadow fingers rise above, Iron fingers stab the desert sky
Oh Behold the power of man, On its tower, ready for the fall
Locking hands together well, Raise a city, build a living hell
Join the race to suicide, Listen for the tolling of the bell

Yellow sun its evil twin in the black the wings deliver him,
We will split our souls within Atom seed to nuclear dust is riven

Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousand suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousand suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousand suns solo

your morals and bury your dead, Bury your head in the sand
All nations are rising, Through acid veils of love and hate
Chain letters of Satan Uncertainty led us all to this
All nations are raising Through acid veils of love and hate
Cold fusion and Fury

Divide and conquer while ye may, Others preach and others fall and pray
In the bunkers where we'll die, There the executioners they lie
Bombers launched with no recall, Minutes warning of the missile fall
Take a look at your last sky, Guessing you won’t have the time to cry

Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousands suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousands suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousands suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousands suns
Out of the darkness, brighter than a thousands suns

A Diffrent World

You lead me on the path Keep showing me the way
I feel a little lost A little strange today
I think I'll take a hold Of whatever comes my way
Then we'll see what happens Take it day by day

I thought I had it all I had it all worked out
Just what my future held That there would be no doubt
But then the card came up And I took another turn
But I don't know if it's Fulfilment that I earn

Tell me what you can hear And then tell me what you see
Everybody has a different way To view the world
I would like you to know When you see the simple things
To appreciate this life It's not to late to learn

Don't want to be here
Somewhere I'd rather be
But when I get there
I might find it's not for me
Don't know what I want
Or where I want to be
I'm feeling more confused
The more the days go by

the French Factor :)

It is 10 am, Monday the 4th of December 2006. Sitting in No. 5 Cafe Bar, trying to catch my train of thoughts, looking at the faces of the regular customers may be I will find a beautiful face that inspires me with the right start to work in my thesis. Suddenly, I picked a song sent to me by a friend called Paroles Paroles, the moment I played that song was like a magical moment, suddenly found myself as if I am sitting in the middle of Paris, in a typical French cafe where I used to do in 1997. It was like a magical moment, suddenly my head filled with thoughts and ideas for my thesis, and I swear to God that I have played this song continuously until I finished my two sessions of working in No. 5 I don’t know why this happening to me, however I called it the French Factor... Thanks to paroles Paroles and thanks to the friend who sent me this masterpiece...Joe

No Leaf Clover (means Bad luck)

And it feels right this time, On this crash course, we're on the big time
Pay no mind to the distant thunder, Beauty fills his head with wonder, boy....
Says it feels right this time, Turn around, found new high lights
Good day to be alive, Sir Good day to be alive, he said....

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just a freight train coming your way
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just the freight train coming your way

Don't it feel right like this, All the pieces fall to his wish
Suck up for that quick reward boy, Suck up for that quick reward they said....

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just a freight train coming your way
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just the freight train coming your way....
It's coming your way It's coming your way.... Here comes Yeah,

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just a freight train coming your way....Yeah... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah.... Then it comes to be, Yeah....

Parisienne Walkways, Gary Moore

Paris 1997, best days of my life, never been facinated by a city such as Paris, The people, Places and Atmosphere, If I'm lucky enough to have one wish while a shooting star is passing by, it will be Paris, Paris and Paris

I remember Paris in '97. Champs Elysee, San Michelle and old Beaujolais wine.
And I recall that you were mine, in those Parisienne days.
Looking back at the photographs. Those summer days spent outside corner cafes.
Oooh, I could write you paragraphs, about my old Parisienne days.

What A Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Oh yeah

Empty Rooms

Loneliness is your only friend...A broken heart that just won't mendis the price you pay...
It's hard to take when love grows old...The days are long and the nights turn cold...
when it fades away...
You hope that she will change her mind, but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.

Empty rooms, Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms, Where we learn to live without love.

You see her face in every crowd.
You hear her voice, but you're still proud, so you turn away.
You tell yourself that you'll be strong...But your heart tells you, this time you're wrong...

You hope that she will change her mind, but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love.
All alone in an empty room...Lonliness is your only friend, hooh.Oh,
she's gone and you're at the end.

As Time Goes By

You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh.
The fundamental things apply As time goes by.
And when two lovers woo
They still say, "I love you."
On that you can rely
No matter what the future brings As time goes by.

Moonlight and love songs Never out of date.
Hearts full of passion Jealousy and hate.
Woman needs man And man must have his mate
That no one can deny.
It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die.
The world will always welcome lovers As time goes by.
Oh yes, the world will always welcome lovers As time goes by.

Script For A Jester's Tears

So here I am once more..In the playground of the broken hearts...
One more experience, one more entry in a diary, self-penned...
Yet another emotional suicide Overdosed on sentiment and pride...
Too late to say I love you... Too late to restage the play...
Abandoning the relics in my playground of yesterday
I'm losing on the swings...I'm losing on the roundabouts...
I'm losing on the swings...I'm losing on the roundabouts...
Too much, too soon, too far to go, too late to play...The game is over,

I act the role in classic style Of a martyr carved with twisted smile...
To bleed the lyric for this song... To write the rites to right my wrongs...
An epitaph to a broken dream...To exercise this silent scream
A scream that's born from sorrow...I never did write that lovesong...
The words just never seemed to flow..Now sad in reflection did I gaze through perfection
And examine the shadows on the other side of morning
As you grow up and leave the playground...
Where you kissed your prince and found your frog...
Remember the jester that showed you tears, the script for tears

So I'll hold our peace forever... when you wear your bridal gown..
In the silence of my shame the mute that sang the sirens' song...
Has gone solo in the game...I've gone solo in the game, but the game is over...
Can you still say you love me...Can you still say you love me
Can you still say that you love me...
Do you love me..Do you love me...Do you love me...Do you love me,
the jester's tear

Gary Moore's One Day The Sun will Shine On You

I've seen that look somewhere before..your sorrow is like an open door...
you've been this way for much too long..somebody must have done you wrong..
But one day the sun will shine on you, turn all your tears to laughter..
one day your dreams may all come true, one day the sun will shine on you..
I've seen that look so many times..i know the sadness in your eyes...
your life is like a wishing well...where it goes, only time will tell...
But one day the sun will shine on you, turn all your tears to laughter...
one day your dreams may all come true, one day the sun will shine on you
Say goodbye to the lonely nights
say goodbye to the northern lights
say goodbye to cold north winds
say goodbye to the autumn leaves

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow I Can't Let You Go...

Can't Let You Go
Day after day I'm waking up To find that you're slipping away...

Night after night I can't fight the emptiness inside..
There's nothing I can say, Now I know you're turning me away...
It's only a disguise, But you don't have to hide cause..
The truth is in your eyes tonight
I don't want to live a lie..But I don't want to say goodbye..
And I can't let you go even though it's over..I just can't let you go...
I know your love is growing colder..
One look in my eyes and you'd realize, You got my heart in your hands...
Won't you let me know something more..Where did we go wrong?
I don't want to fight, All I want to do is try and understand...
I'm reaching out for you, Babe what can I do..I've been holding on so long...
I don't want to live a lie, But I don't want to say goodbye...
I can't let you go, Even though it's over, I just can't let you go..
Though your love is growing colder
And I can't let you go, Even though it's over.....

I don't want to live a lie, But I don't want to say goodbye...I want you by my side...
And I can't let you go, Even though it's over, I just can't let you go....
I feel your love is growing colder, I can't let you go even though it's over..
I just can't let you go, Feel your love growing colder...
I just can't let you go...
